Oh My Goodness! Have you looked, I mean really looked, at all the Arts in your community?
When I started to purposely seek out the local Arts, I was amazed at what’s out there. Even in a small town area such as ours. Even on a far from anywhere fire hall in a “town” that’s just a collection of houses.
So folks… I’m on a mission. I’ve set a goal. I’m going to push myself. I will open my eyes to see and set my mind to notice the Arts all around that I’ve taken for granted. I will look at the street Art. I will appreciate the architecture. I will speak to local Artists. I will make the time to visit galleries. I will look for local Arts and Artists when I travel.
Let’s face it. We are busy. We have stuff to do. The urgent takes the spotlight. Routines rule our lives. Its like we have blinders on. But no more, I say, no more!
